On November 14th, 2019 there was another school shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California. The shooter was a 16 year old student that attended the school. Before taking his own life, he killed two of his classmates and injured three more. The weapon that was used in this shooting was a pistol but at the age of 16 there is no way that he should have had possession of that weapon. This shows that this would most likely have to be the boys parents weapon in which case he still should not have had access to it. If stricter gun control laws were put into place an increase in security at the school could have been in place which could have helped prevent something like this to happen.
