According to the ProCon.org 97% of gun owners agree to background checks, 67% of gun owners agree to a nationwide assault rifle ban, and 53% of gun owners agree to high capacity magazine ban. This shows that even some gun owners want stricter gun control laws. The other side to this topic is the feeling that it takes away from our second amendment right. it may take away from our second amendment right but it is better to be safer and have more laws to protect us against someone who may be the shooter of an mass shooting.
