Pros for more Gun Control laws

An increase in gun control laws would lower the amount of occurring gun deaths. According to the article from ProCon.org there has been over 570,000 gun deaths between 1999 and 2016. The number of deaths had to increase being only a few years away from 2016 because at that time there was a great rise in deaths related to gun related incidents. The Article also shows that Background checks and Identification requirements could also help reduce the amount of gun deaths. A 57% background check when purchasing firearm or ammunition could reduce the number of deaths by 81%. A identification check could also have reduced the number by 82.5% according to the article.
